Buildings and Places Block
Important
Information and features vary according to the roles to which you belong and the permissions associated with those roles. For more information, contact your module manager or your campus support team.
Use this block to quickly create a new place, view the most recently added places and access detailed information about them, and access a list of all places.
Click the Select category drop-down in the Building and Places block on the Facilities hub page.
Select the type of building or place you would like to create to open the Create Place Wizard.
Complete the steps in the Create Place Wizard to create a place.
Click the View all places link in the lower right-hand corner of the Buildings and Places block.
Only the five most recent places appear in the Recently Added list. To view your newly created place, click the View all places link. From the View Places list, you can search for your place.
Only those campuses identified as active on the Desktop Maintain Location Master window are available to be selected.
Only those regions identified as active on the Manage Regions page are available to be selected.
