J1 Web User Permissions

Permissions Granted to All Users

The J1 Web User role lets users access standard J1 Web features including calendar, To Dos, bookmarks, and pins. All J1 Web users are assigned to this role. Permissions for this role cannot be updated and the role cannot be deleted.

Tip

Meeting related permissions are managed using the following roles:

  • Academic Advising Module Manager

  • Advising – Access to All Students

  • Secondary Advisor – Access to Students by Campus Location

  • Facilities Manager - Calendar Administration

  • Facilities User - Manage My Meetings

  • Faculty – Access to Courses and Students by Course

  • Primary Advisor – Access to Assigned Students

  • Secondary Advisor – Access to Students by Academic Program, Athletic Roster, and Campus Location

Tip

Places and spaces permissions are managed using the Facilities User and Manager roles.
