General Information about Permission Notes
Jenzabar uses roles and permissions to manage access to information throughout the system. In certain scenarios, you may be able to view a page, but you can't complete certain tasks because of permissions or access.
Permissions let you do something (e.g., view, create, or delete information).
Associations determine which information you can access to do whatever the permission allows. For example, you can view student information (permission), but only for students in the Engineering Major (association).
The note below is visible throughout the help and can apply to both permissions and associations. Additional information about access is detailed in each help topic.
Important
Information and features vary according to the roles to which you belong and the permissions associated with those roles. For more information, contact your module manager or your campus support team.
