Add Multiple Invitees from a Query
Important
Information and features vary according to the roles to which you belong and the permissions associated with those roles. For more information, contact your module manager or your campus support team.
Use this page to import multiple invitees at one time using an InfoMaker query. Queries saved to the EventWebReport.pbl appear in the Available Queries drop-down on the Add Multiple Invitees via Query page.
Note
Your InfoMaker queries must return either the ID_NUM or GOID for an individual to display properly in J1 Web.
Tip
The default q_event_invitees query uses the IZ_ALL_NAMES_V view, and we recommend that you use this view for any customized queries.
For more information about creating an InfoMaker query, see the InfoMaker Resource Center on MyJenzabar or contact your campus support team.
To Customize the Event Invitees Query:
Note
Contact your campus support team for details about installing InfoMaker.
InfoMaker must be installed on your machine.
You need access to the EventWebReport.pbl file. This file is typically installed on the J1 Web webserver during the upgrade/installation process and stored in the default location (C:\Jenzabar\Reports\). You can choose to save the file in another location on your internal network.
Your queries must start with the name 'q_event_invitees'. The default query is q_event_invitees, but you may want to create a query that is specific to a group (e.g., q_event_invitees_2016_alums).
Customized queries must include either the ID_NUM or GOID column so that query results appear on the Add Multiple Invitees page.
You may need to change the query criteria. See the InfoMaker Resource Center on MyJenzabar or contact your campus support team for more information.
