Student Page Financial Account Details Block
Important
Information and features vary according to the roles to which you belong and the permissions associated with those roles. For more information, contact your module manager or your campus support team.
The Financial Account Details block provides a summary of the student's account balance, payment plan balance, and other billing information. It also includes links to the Student Account Details and Student Information Details pages for quick access to additional details.
Permissions Required
To view the student account information in the Financial Account Details block, you must be in a Receivables Management role (or copy of it) with "Can view student account details" and "Can view student payment plan" permissions.
To view student billing information, you must be in a Registration - Access to All Students role (or copy of it) and in a Registrars role (or copy of it) with the appropriate permissions. For additional information, see the Registrars Permissions help topic.
Block Information
The block can include the following details.
Current Amount Due displays the amount due for the selected billing period or year/term.
Total account balance displays the student's outstanding balance across all billing periods.
The number of active Payment Plans, the Remaining Balance for all plans associated with the student (active and inactive), and the Next Payment Due date.
Any Discount Type Code, Tuition Code, or Third Party ID associated with the student.
On the universal toolbar, click the Search icon
. The Search panel opens with Person selected.
Enter part or all of a student's name or ID, and select it from the list. The student's Summary page opens.
Click the Person options drop-down, and select Student and then Summary page. The student's Student Summary page opens with the Financial Account Details block visible.
Select a year/term in the drop-down.
For more detailed information, click the Student Account Details link. The Student Account Details page opens.
Click the drop-down next to Current Amount Due to select a year/term or billing period from the available options. The amount updates to reflect the selected option.
The Payment Plan section may be hidden because the student doesn't have any payment plans. If the student does have at least one payment plan, you may not have the appropriate permission to view payment plan information. If you need additional assistance, contact your campus support team.
