Student Life Setup Checklist
The Student Life setup checklist is intended for module managers and IT admins who are implementing J1 Web Student Life for your campus. If J1 Web Student Life has already been implemented at your school, skip this section and go to Using J1 Web Student Life. Before beginning to use J1 Web Student Life, ensure that you have the following data and settings in place:
In J1 Desktop
Enable J1 Web logins for Residence Staff members.
To ensure users have appropriate access to important Student Life information, the Student Life Module Manager, Residence Life Administrator, and Student Health Administrator must be active web users and belong to the appropriate J1 Desktop user groups. Detailed information about J1 Desktop user groups, permissions, and access is available in the J1 Desktop Online Help and in the J1 Web System Administration Guide, which is available in the J1 Module Resource Center on MyJenzabar.net.
In J1 Web
In JICS Campus Portal
Ensure that FormFlow is set up and functional in your Campus Portal.
This setup is a one-time process that must be completed before Campus Portal and J1 Web can share information. If you previously set up the Campus Portal FormFlow feature for another module, you do not need to do it again. If it has never been set up, refer to the FormFlow Administration Guide available on MyJenzabar.net for step-by-step instructions.
