Events Hub Overview Block

Completed indicates the event has occurred. Event details can be reviewed and information related to documents, fees, and attendance can be updated, if needed. The event can be copied to create a new event with similar details or deleted if the information is no longer needed.

Draft indicates general event information has been entered, but either information has not been completed and the event scheduled, or the event has not be submitted for approval. Invitees and documents can be managed, but invitations and actions/action lists cannot be applied. The event can be copied to create a new event with similar details and deleted if the information is no longer needed.

Proposed indicates and event has been submitted for consideration and any needed location approval requests have also been sent to the location approver. Invitees can be managed, but invitations and actions/action lists cannot be applied until the event is approved and scheduled. Event details can also be updated except the location, date, and time. The event can be copied to create a new event with similar details and deleted if the information is no longer needed.

Proposal Approved indicates an event was submitted and approved, and can now be scheduled. Invitees can be managed, but invitations and actions/action lists cannot be applied until the event is scheduled. Event details can also be updated as needed. The event can be copied to create a new event with similar details and deleted if the information is no longer needed.

Proposal Denied indicates an event was submitted for approval, but denied. This could be due to location conflicts, unavailable resources, previous bad experience with the requester, etc. Event details can be reviewed and updated, and the event can be resubmitted for review.  Invitees can be managed, but invitations and actions/action lists cannot be applied until the event is scheduled. The event can be copied to create a new event with similar details and deleted if the information is no longer needed.

Scheduled indicates an approved event has a location, date, and time, and is formally scheduled. Event invitees and participants can be managed. Documents can be added, action items can be associated with different statuses, and events can be published to select Campus Portal calendars. The event can be copied to create a new event with similar details. The location, date, and time cannot be updated and the event can be cancelled or postponed, but not deleted.

In Progress indicates an approved event is currently underway. Event attendees can be checked-in and added. Documents can be added, action items can be associated with different statuses such as no show and attended. The event can be copied to create a new event with similar details. The location, date, and time cannot be updated and the event can be cancelled or postponed, but not deleted.
