Employee Administrator Settings

Use the Administrator Settings page to determine how employee supervisors and employees use and interact with J1 Web Employee.

Use this setting to create timecards in J1 Web.

Use the Contacts setting to choose your school's HR contacts.

Using the leave requests and approvals setting options, you can:

  • Determine the leave request and approval process for your employees

  • Determine the minimum time increments employees can use when entering a leave request

Using the overtime setting options, you can:

  • Turn online overtime on or off for your employees

  • Establish workweeks for each pay group

  • Set up overtime limits and rates

Using the timecard setting options, you can:

  • Determine how timecard hours are rounded

  • Determine the format employees will use to enter their time

  • Select a cutoff date for employees to enter and save their time for a pay period

  • Select a cutoff date for when supervisors must approve their employees' timecards
