Access Codes

Permission

Users in this role can. . .

Can add or edit access codes

Control who can access the Access Codes Definition page. Users with this permission enabled can create custom codes that control who can view different communications.

Can delete access codes

Control who can delete custom and inactive access codes.

Contact Definitions

Permission

Users in this role can. . .

Can manage contact definitions

View, create, edit, delete, activate, and deactivate address codes, alternate contact types, and phone carrier, type, and mask definitions. Users in this role can also determine the order the system will use to find and utilize contact information as well as what order the options will appear in when being selected.

Data Set Permissions

Permission

Users in this role can. . .

Can add or edit data sets

Create recipient and data merge data sets from InfoMaker PBLs, SQL files, and imported contact files saved as data sources on the Data Sets page.

Can delete data sets

Delete recipient and data merge data sets from the Data Sets page. Jenzabar provided queries cannot be deleted.

Can view data sets

Access the Data Sets page and view data merge and recipient queries.

Definitions

Each permission in the Definitions section controls user access to a particular definition page, such as the Relationship Definitions page or the Manage Table Values page.

Most of these give permission to manage, which means the user can view, edit, and delete existing definitions on that page and also download the definitions to an Excel file. They can also create new definitions for that page.

Schedule Permissions

Users in this role can. . .

Can add or edit schedules

Build and manage schedules that are used with automation plans.

Can view schedules

View schedules and automation plans and the interactions associated with them.

Can delete schedules

Permanently delete schedules in J1 Web. These users should have an understanding of where and how the schedule is used in the system to ensure they don't delete an important resource.

Can manage blocks

Access block settings on the Campus-Wide Definitions Summary page. These settings let users add and update custom content blocks as well as remove, activate, deactivate, and reorder Jenzabar-provided and custom content blocks on the page.
