Workflow Instances

Important

Information and features vary according to the roles to which you belong and the permissions associated with those roles. For more information, contact your module manager or your campus support team.

The Workflow Instances page shows workflows you are associated with as a stakeholder and workflows you can view based on your roles and permissions. These might be workflows with tasks you need to complete, workflows you need to monitor, or in some circumstances, workflows you want to assign to individuals and organizations in the system.

You can view all workflows you are associated with or ones

  • My Workflows shows all the workflows you are associated with as a stakeholder.

    This can mean you're a coach or an advisor or a student success coordinator, if you have a participation in this workflow, you will see those workflows represented in your my workflow view

  • All Workflows shows all the workflows you can view based on the roles you are assigned to and the access codes.

    For example, if you are a department head, you can see all the workflows in your area.

Permissions needed:

  • To view workflows, you must belong to Jenzabar's default Workflow Base role. The permission needed to associate workflows is available with Jenzabar's default Workflow Base role.

  1. Access the Workflow Definitions page.

  2. Click the hyperlinked name of the workflow. The Workflow Details window appears with comments appearing on the left-hand side.

    If the comments are not showing, click Internal Comments to expand them.

  3. To add a comment, click New comment.

    Note

    Use @mentions to bring a workflow comment to someone's attention.

  4. Click the Add button.
