Regions and Areas
Regions are collections of places. You can choose to identify regions by their geographic location on campus, such as the North Campus or the Village. Associating a place to a region makes it easier for users to search for that location. For example, if an event planner is looking to schedule an event in the Village, they will be able to search for all the places within that region.

Areas are collections of spaces. You can group spaces within a place together in an area. For example, you can group all the meeting rooms on the fourth floor of the library into one area.

J1 Campuses are the same as Locations in J1 Desktop. They are maintained in the Maintain Location Master window in Desktop, and cannot be edited from J1 Web. For more information, see the Desktop help.
