Vehicle Administrator Permissions

The default Vehicle Administrator role is for your school's administrative users responsible for managing vehicle incidents and violations.

Manage Definitions

Can manage vehicle involvement type definitions

View, create, edit, and delete vehicle involvement type definitions on the Vehicle Administration hub, and download the full list of definitions to a spreadsheet.

Can manage vehicle permit definitions

View, create, edit, and delete vehicle permit definitions on the Vehicle Administration hub, and download a full list of definitions to a spreadsheet.

Can manage vehicle violation type definitions

View, create, edit, and delete violation type definitions on the Vehicle Administration hub, and download the full list of definitions to a spreadsheet.

Vehicle Incidents

Many of the permissions related to vehicle violation incidents apply to either general or restricted incidents. Restricted incidents are those that contain sensitive data and should not be viewed or maintained except by specific personnel on campus. General incidents are of a less sensitive status.

Can submit incident reports

Create vehicle violation incident reports from the Vehicle Administration Hub page.

Can edit my incident reports

Edit vehicle violation incident reports assigned to them. If this permission is selected, "Can submit incident reports" is selected automatically.

Can view general incidents

View incident reports that are not restricted.

Can edit general incidents

Edit incident reports that are not restricted. If this permission is selected, "Can view general incidents" is selected automatically.

Can view restricted incidents

View incidents that are restricted.

Can edit restricted incidents

Edit incident reports that are restricted. If this permission is selected, "Can view restricted incidents" is selected automatically.

Can view general incident sanctions

View sanctions for incidents that are not restricted.

Can apply sanctions to general incidents

Apply sanctions to vehicle violation incidents that are not restricted. If this permission is selected, "Can view general incident sanctions" is selected automatically.

Can edit general incident sanctions

Edit details of sanctions associated with vehicle violation incidents that are not restricted. If this permission is selected, "Can view general incident sanctions" is selected automatically.

Can generate charges for general incident sanctions
