Pending Event Proposal Approvals Block
Important
Information and features vary according to the roles to which you belong and the permissions associated with those roles. For more information, contact your module manager or your campus support team.
This block appears on your Events hub home and Event pages when you are associated with the event approval process as an event coordinator and/or events approver.
Event coordinators can see a list of all the events they’ve submitted for approval and access event details with the name link.
Event approvers can see information about event proposals awaiting their approval.
The event approval process is unique for each event classification, and event coordinators are notified when their event is approved or denied.
Tip
If an event proposal is denied, the Event Coordinator can make changes to the proposal and resubmit it for approval.
Approval requests for recurring events will show the recurring event icon under the date and time.
Single Events. The Review button opens a pop-up with event information, a field for approver comments, and Approve/Deny options.
Recurring Events. The Review button opens a pop-up with event information, a field for approver comments, and Approve/Deny options. When you approve or deny a recurring event, every occurrence in the series is approved or denied.
Multi-part Events. The Review button opens the Manage Multi-Part Event page. After you approve the main event, you can submit each sub-event for approval. The approval process for sub-events is similar to the process for single events.
Note
Location requests are handled separately. If your event location requires approval, the event cannot be scheduled until the location is approved even if the event proposal has been approved.
