Advisor Meeting Status Block

Important

Information and features vary according to the roles to which you belong and the permissions associated with those roles. For more information, contact your module manager or your campus support team.

This block is on the Advising Administration Summary page. Use this block to gauge how far along advisors are with meeting with their advisees for a selected advising cycle. The bar chart shows the total count of advisors who have completed all meetings with their advisees versus advisors who have not completed all meetings and advisors with remaining meetings are listed below. Any advisors who have not met with any of their advisees appears at the top of the list followed by the advisors with the most meetings remaining.

  1. On the main Navigation panel, click Advising Administration. The contents of the hub appear.

  2. Click Summary. The Summary page appears.

  3. Scroll down or click the anchor link to the Advisor Meeting Status block.

    Note

    The block is not available if there isn't an active advising cycle.

Click View all advisors. The Advisor Meeting Status page appears showing a full list of all the advisors associated with the advising cycle the percentage of meetings they have completed thus far and the total numbers of advisees they have met with and have not met with.

Click on the advisor's name. The Advisor's page appears showing any available contact information.

Click the student's name. The Student page appears showing any available contact information.

From the year/term drop-down, select the year/term you want to see how many advisors have met with their advisees.

Tip

Only one year/term can be selected and shown at a time.

  • The meeting period for the selected advising cycle may not have ended. Verify the dates of the cycle using the Advising Cycles page.

  • You may be between advising cycles and the dates for the next advising cycle and related meeting periods have not started.

  • Advisees may not have accepted advising appointments yet using My Advisor Meetings.

  • Advisors may not be tracking attendance using the Attended option on the J1 Web Advising Meeting page.
