Base Versus Licensed
Communications Base offers a range of features available to all J1 Web users with some functionality varying based on individual setups. The licensed version provides enhanced email and texting features. The following table outlines the features available.

Document Settings | Control the number of pages allowed in a single download for document interactions. Document interactions exceeding this number of pages are broken into separate files. | X | X |
Embedded WYSIWYG Editor | What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) robust content editor with a wide range of formatting options for creating dynamic emails. | X | |
Enhanced Email | Create, view, send, and reply to bidirectional, real-time emails where communication options are available. SendGrid is an integrated provider option offering email analytics that show information about how many recipients opened the email, forwarded the email, clicked links, routed it to spam, etc. Forwarding options let users create Communication Management email interactions but continue the exchange from their Outlook .edu email address while continuously recording all exchanges in Communication Management. | X | |
