Notification Center
Important
Information and features vary according to the roles to which you belong and the permissions associated with those roles. For more information, contact your module manager or your campus support team.
The notification center lets you view notifications as well as system messages that were sent in previous versions. Notifications are typically related to system events, like advising milestones or changes in roles and permissions. You can also create notification interactions from the Define Interactions page.
Tip
Existing messages are converted to notifications when you upgrade to version 2021.1 or later, and can be viewed in the Notification Center or Message Archive.
There are three types of notifications:
Error notifications indicate that a system job did not run properly. Contact your IT department or campus support team for these notifications.
Information notifications are system-generated and communicate important details for your awareness (e.g., changes to your role or permissions, important milestones in a process, etc.).
Warning notifications indicate that a system job ran, but there were issues during the process.
If filter options aren’t appearing, click the No filters applied link. You can filter notifications in several ways:
Search for a specific word with the Keyword filter
Use a filter or a combination of filters to see notifications based on name, module, timeframe, status, and type
Sort by the Subject or Date / Time column headings
Tip
To save filter criteria for reuse, click Save as. Enter a name for the filter and click Save. Set as default reuses the filter every time you access the page.
