Overview
This page is designed to provide an overview of the Jenzabar SONIS pages that are used during Tenure progress monitoring, awarding, and management. Individual member institutions may have created processes and policies that use pages that are not included in this overview.
Common Tenure Pages
Tenure Activities: For SONIS member institutions that offer faculty tenure and track associated activities, the Records menu page Tenure Activities provides a location to record the activities.
Tenure Administration Assignments: If tenured faculty are assigned administrative responsibilities, these can be recorded and maintained on the Records menu page Tenure Admin. Assignments.
Tenure Awards: If the SONIS member institution offers faculty tenure or provides service awards, these can be tracked and maintained on the Records menu page Tenure Awards.
Tenure Committees: The Tenure Committees Records menu page provides the opportunity to record and maintain information about a faculty member's participation on tenure committees.
Tenure Grants: If the SONIS member institution tracks or administers grants earned by or awarded to tenured faculty, the Tenure Grants Records menu page can be used to record and maintain this information.
Tenure Publications: The Tenure Publications Records menu page provides SONIS member institutions a location to record and maintain published research and writing by tenured faculty.
