Jenzabar SONIS Version 3.4 Great Plains Export Update
Overview
Beginning with SONIS version 3.4, the Great Plains export file has been revised. This change was made because some institutions utilizing Great Plains and the SONIS Post to Accounting utility prefer to auto-generate journal entry numbers rather than having them generated by SONIS. For this reason, the JE numbers have duplicated in the Reference column of the export file. Schools using Great Plains can continue using the SONIS journal entry numbers or configure their software to ignore the first column and create their own journal entry numbers.
