Nelnet Account Balance Export

Nelnet can receive student account balance information via the Student Changes Upload Flat File, which is uploaded to the Nelnet website. The Systems hub utility, Nelnet Account Balance Export, produces the file in the format expected by Nelnet. An option is provided to all pending financial aid to be included in account balances. If this option is chosen, the balance will be reduced by the sum of any unposted/unvoided transactions for the current school year. A PDF of the records that will be included in the export file can be produced and reviewed for accuracy, prior to creating the export file. When the export file is created, it will be saved to the defined Batch folder with the file name NBS_Student_Balances. An option is provided to download and save the file to a local computer.
