Preregistration Utility
Overview
The Preregistration Utility finds students that are preregistered and allows administrators to give them full registration status in bulk. Preregistering a student gives them a spot in the selected classes while requiring that they complete a set of tasks before they are fully registered. For example, an incoming freshman could be preregistered for the classes they'll need to take in their first semester to ensure that they don't miss out on those classes while requiring that they provide health records, take a placement exam, etc. before being fully registered. The tasks that each user must complete are assigned using the Work Tasks Assign utility and can be viewed from the Work Tasks Checklist page, both in the Users hub.
Use the filters on the Preregistration Utility page to refine the list of preregistered students. Select a school year and semester and choose whether to view All Preregistered Students, students with their Checklist Completed Only, or students with their Checklist Uncomplete Only. Choose which student records should be altered with the checklists in the Turn Off Preregistration column and click submit to move the selected students from preregistered to registered.
