Enable Login

Users can be locked out of the Jenzabar SONIS system for various reasons, including entering the wrong PIN or Password too many times. The number of attempts a user can make before they are locked out of the system is based on the Login Retries setting in Web Options. Once a user has been logged out, their login can be reenabled by unchecking the Login Disabled box on the user's Biographic page for Students, Faculty, Alumni, and other portal users or by through User Security for administrative users.

The Enable Login utility can perform these tasks in bulk and provides a list of all currently disabled accounts. The utility lists all admin and non-admin users who have disabled accounts separately. Select one or more accounts from either the portal user or admin dropdown menu and click the appropriate Select button to enable to account(s). On the following page, click Confirm Enabling to complete the process.
