Bio/Address Archive
Overview
Any time the address of an alumnus, faculty member, or student updates is updated by that user through their portal, the previous values are saved to the Bio/Address Archive utility, available from the Users hub. This allows administrators to view any previous name or address records on file for the individual. The date the information was changed and who made the change are also stored.
If the Allow Direct Biographic Information Updates web option is on for their portal, then users can make changes to their address record directly. Otherwise, these changes must be imported by administrators using Import Functions before the address record is updated and before the Bio/Address Archive page is updated accordingly.
Use
Bio/Address Archive is accessed from the Users hub of any user type (student, faculty, etc.). It is display only and is populated by a biographic records update system task.
