2023 Admin Redesign

In June 2023, a redesign of the Jenzabar SONIS Administrative system was released. Listed below are pages that cover each redesign area or feature. A short video covering the redesign is available here.

• Hub Areas: In SONIS versions prior to Jenzabar SONIS 2023, a navigation toolbar was displayed at the top of the Administrative portal and a search displayed at the top of the area menus on the left-hand side. In SONIS 2023, the top toolbar and left search have been consolidated into Hub Areas.

• QuickSearch: A single search area was added to improve usefulness and ease of navigation. Users can search within all SONIS menus from this area.

• Page Identification & Links: The Page Identification and Page Links areas were changed to allow administrators to quickly see which page and hub they are viewing and provide improved page-specific links.

• Search Results: The Search Results page, available from QuickSearch Results or from the User and Courses Hubs, provides administrators the ability to search using filters and keywords. It also provides access to the Create User and Create Course wizards. The displayed results honor existing User Profiles.

• Status Bar & Breadcrumbs: An updated status bar and breadcrumbs were added in Jenzabar SONIS 2023. The cleaner and clearer options will improve workflow and understanding of data.

• User Card: A cleaner and clearer Authenticated User Card was added to every Jenzabar SONIS page. This card, or area of the page, is customized to the user that is currently logged in and their assigned role for the application. Utilities and portals associated with the user's role are available from the dropdown, regardless of portal or page hub areas.
