ELM Import

The Financials menu utility, Import: ELM Import, provides SONIS member institutions that work with ELM for student loans the ability to import data files from ELM. The file is selected via a standard Browse file selector function. Administrators choose the appropriate school year and semester, as well as any desired transaction date, prior to submitting the file for validation. The utility will review the data in the file to ensure all records match a student name and have both an award transaction and award code for the school year and semester that matches the loan(s) in the file. The results will be displayed to the administrator and can be individually selected for import.
