Forms Item: Label

Important

The Label question is standalone text and typically used for providing instructions to form completers. It does not collection information; it only displays information to the form completer. NO RULES

The following options are available in Campus Portal Forms, but handled differently or aren't available with J1 Web Forms.

How To

  1. Access the Connect, Forms, Manage Forms page.

  2. Find the form you're updating and from the Actions menu, select Edit form.

  3. From the Build step, select the tab you want to add the label field to.

  4. Click Add Item. The New Item pop-up window appears.

  5. Enter a Unique ID for the label field.

  6. Select Label from the Type drop-down.

  7. Select the appropriate label display option: Display on the form or Screen reader only.

  8. In the Text field, enter and format the label you want to use to describe the label field.

  9. If you are grouping fields, enter the group name in the Group field.

    Note

    Each question being included in the group must have the same group name in this field.

  10. Click the Settings tab.

  11. Use the Alignment options to move it to the center or right.

  12. Display on: Mobile, Tablet, Desktop

  13. Click Update.
