Student Success Administrator Role
Important
Information and features vary according to the roles to which you belong and the permissions associated with those roles. For more information, contact your module manager or your campus support team.
Assign copies of this role to administrative users responsible for managing and overseeing all Student Success processes.
Tip
Don't edit the Student Success Administrator role directly. Keep it as a pristine template. Instead, make copies of the role to edit and assign user to as suits your needs. For example, you could make copies and name them like the following:
Student Success Administrator - Non-Confidential: allows access to non-confidential alerts but not to confidential alerts
Student Success Administrator - Confidential View Only: allows viewing confidential alerts but not editing or deleting them
Student Success Administrator - All Permissions: allows full access to non-confidential and confidential alerts, to viewing and creating roles, and managing blocks on summary pages
Tip
See the Edit Roles help topic for detailed information on each tab of a role's Edit page and for instructions for managing roles and permissions.
There are several categories of permissions. Note especially the two parallel categories: Early Alerts and Confidential Early Alerts. They have equivalent pairs of permissions, but Early Alerts permissions apply only to nonconfidential alerts.
