Process a Form

Submitted forms may be processed in one of two ways:

  • Manually by accessing the Import Processing Queue page, locating the submission, and processing it.

  • Automatically by associating forms with a data mapping template that allows automated processing. If duplicate or invalid data is flagged, the form appears on the Import Processing Queue page for manual intervention. Valid submissions are saved automatically.

During the manual and automatic import processes, any potential duplicate or invalid data is identified. You can compare imported values with existing system data and choose how to resolve differences: update existing data, create new records, or modify the data being imported.

Permissions

  • To access the page, you must belong to a Common, Data Management role with data mapping template or imports permissions enabled.

  • To process a form submission, you must have access to both the form and its associated data mapping template. Access to forms and data mapping templates is controlled through module access codes. Forms and templates are associated with one or more module access codes, and access is gained through roles that have the corresponding access codes enabled.

How To

  1. Access the Connect hub, Data Management module, Import Processing Queue page.

  2. Find the form you want to process. Use the filters to help your search.

  3. From the Actions drop-down, select Process. This opens the record in a review window where you can resolve duplicates or invalid values.
