After the Installation
You should review this section after installing or upgrading to a new version of JICS.
JicsScheduler.exe.config File
The JicsScheduler.exe.config, to the Jenzabar\ICS.NET\Portal directory. You should not need to modify this file unless you need to modify the log4net setting stored in the .config file.
If You Have Multiple Web Servers
If your JICS installation uses multiple web servers in a load-balanced configuration, note that the scheduler will be added as you run the installer on each server, but the installer will only start the job on the first server. The reason for this is that, for the scheduler to work properly, all servers must be time synced. So we recommend verifying that your servers’ clocks are synchronized and then manually starting the scheduler on all servers.
Note that during subsequent upgrades, we expect the installer to honor the status of the scheduler. That is, if the scheduler is up and running on all web servers, it will remain running after your upgrade.
