Third-Party Integrations

The Third-party integrations page in Site Manager allows a user in the Administrator role to enable JICS's integration with multiple third-party applications. To access these integrations, go to Site Manager and click the Third-party integrations option on the left sidebar.

At the top of the Third-party integrations page, click the drop-down arrow and select the specific integration on the drop-down list, which displays the following options:

  • Course Evaluations—Refer to Setting Up Course Evaluations for an overview and a procedure for integrating this third-party tool with JICS.

  • Google—JICS has a Google Meet integration, and eLearning has a Google Calendar and Google Drive integration. These integrations are enabled using the JICS Third-party integrations page. For more details, refer to the Integration with Google.

  • ProctorFree—Jenzabar eLearning supports the use of ProctorFree, a third-party solution that facilitates successful online proctoring of exams. You must enter the credentials and other information provided by ProctorFree when your institution purchased their service. For more information, refer to the "ProctorFree Integration" section in the eLearning LMS Admin Guide for more information.

  • Twilio—The Twilio integration is used to set preferences related to SMS messaging within the portal. For more details, refer to Enable SMS in the "Managing Communications" section.

  • uLearn—Jenzabar eLearning supports the use of uLearn, an online proctoring service that provides automated, live online monitoring via webcam and screen capture. To integrate with uLearn, you must provide your portal's client ID, secret, and authentication endpoint to your uLearn account representative. For more information, refer to the "uLearn Integration" section in the eLearning LMS Admin Guide.

  • SmartEvals—SmartEvals is another third-party course evaluation tool that you can integrate with JICS. Refer to Integration with SmartEvals for more details.
