Selective Release of an Assignment

eLearning’s selective-release function allows you to release an assignment to students based on rules that you define. For example, you can create a rule to open an assignment at a specific date and time, or you can create a rule to open an assignment for a student only after the student has completed a different assignment. You can create any combination of rules and groups of rules to specify when the assignment will open (become visible) to its audience.

You can define selective-release rules via the Open setting when creating or editing an assignment.
