Reviewing and Adjusting Grades
After students begin participating in the course, you may want to review their overall grades for the course, adjust their grades, or enter feedback for them. This chapter explains how to complete these tasks.
This chapter deals mainly with the concept of reviewing students’ overall grades during the term, making adjustments, and entering feedback.

If you want to delegate responsibility for the tasks described in this chapter, you can do this using the Grading access permission. For details, see Managing Permissions in the Gradebook.
A link is available on the full Gradebook screen, so a user in the Faculty role with the appropriate permissions can click an assignment's name and go to the Faculty-only Coursework screen where grades can be entered. A link is also available on the Faculty-only Coursework screen to go to the full Gradebook screen.
When viewing the full Gradebook in the Gradebook portlet, if the faculty user has the "Can Manage Assignments" or "Can Grade Assignments" permissions in the Coursework portlet for the same course, then the assignment names display as links in the column headers. Clicking a link displays the Coursework Assignment Details screen for the applicable assignment.
Note
Evaluations display on the full Gradebook screen, but their column headers do not display as clickable links.
When viewing the Assignment Details screen in the Coursework portlet, if the faculty user has the "Can Manage Grades" permissions in the Gradebook portlet for the same course, then a View full gradebook link appears at the top (on the left of the More link). Clicking this link displays the full Gradebook screen in the Gradebook portlet.
To see a summary of how all students are currently doing in the course, you view the Full Gradebook. Do one of the following:
If you are on the Gradebook home screen, click View the full Gradebook. (For help getting to the Gradebook home screen, see Navigate to the Gradebook.)
If you are already working in the Gradebook feature instance but have navigated past the home screen, click the Evaluations icon, which looks like an open notebook.
