Use this window to create, edit, and manage courses designated as Non-Traditional for your institution. The list of courses that appear on this window is determined by the filter that has been applied on the Course Filter window.
When you save a change in the Courses window that could affect a Student Course History record, the Non-Traditional Update Student Course History Prompt appears, allowing you to select which records should be updated with the changes.
You can access the Add Row, Delete Row, and ELITE PAINT functionality from the right-click or Options menu in the Year, Term, or Course columns for a Course.
You can open the Course Charges window by choosing Course Charges from the right-click or Options menu.
You can open the Course Budget window by choosing Course Budget from the right-click or Options menu.
The Header columns allow you to select a specific course to work with.
These tabs can be accessed either by clicking the tab or by pressing Ctrl+Shift+F1, Ctrl+Shift+F2, etc. Any sub-tabs can be accessed by clicking the sub-tab on the right hand side of the window or pressing Ctrl+Shift+1, Ctrl+Shift+2, etc.
The Activities, Services, Resources, Marketing, Textbooks and Course Budget tabs are used to identify and associate items to a Non-Traditional course. The Schedule and Class List tabs display the same information that is also available from Registration. The Summary tab is only available if your institution is licensed for Scholarship or Special GPA. The CRM/Web sub-tab of the Course tab contains information on how Non-Traditional courses are handled on the Web and is only available if you are licensed for campus portal (JICS).
When the lead instructor is selected or changed, the instructor information is also updated in both the Schedule and Faculty tabs. You will be given a choice on the Schedule tab, and a message is displayed to indicate the change that is about to occur. |
