Catalog Window

Use this window to enter data to be stored in the Catalog Master table, which also stores default data (such as the course title and code) for every available course. This data is used whenever a new section is created in the Section Master table. The Catalog Master table can also contain course information from other organizations in order to facilitate transfer entry, transfer evaluation, and articulation agreements.

If you selected Academic Credit Varies by Division on the Registration Configuration window, the words "credit" and "hours" are replaced with the label you created on the Division Definition window for the following column headers: "Credit Hours," "Credit Fixed," "Credit Variable," and Default Credit Hours."

All of the tabs in the lower part of the window are populated with the default data that exists in the Catalog Master table for the course displayed in the header. The right-click or Options menu allows you to add new courses (Add Row), delete courses (Delete Row), search for Course Components 1-6 (Course Components windows), search the Catalog for courses (Catalog Lookup), and search for organizations (Organization Master Lookup).
