Receipt Entry Window

Use this window to view all receipts that have not yet been posted, the date they were created, and their current status. From this window you can create a new receipt, edit the details of a current receipt, and create a new receipt for multiple subsidiaries or open items. The receipts are entered in transaction groups with a source code of RC.

If Project Security has been activated in G/L Configuration and the user is not assigned to the appropriate security group, not all projects may be visible.

·       The Delete Selected Rows button allows you to delete selected (highlighted) rows.

·       The DeSelect Selected Rows button allows you to deselect any rows that have been selected (highlighted).

·       Click the Customize to customize the report.

·       Click the New Detail button to open the Receipt Entry Detail window to create new receipts for individuals accounts and miscellaneous payments. If a specific payment is to be applied to an individuals payment plan, you must attach the receipt to the payment plan.

·       Select a receipt from the those displayed and click the Edit Detail button to open the Receipt Entry Detail window displaying the selected receipts current details. Edit the information as needed and save your changes.

·       The Forms drop-down list provides a list of available customizable receipt formats.

Third Party Payments can also be applied; however, the option is only available according to the configuration of the Process Third Party as Subsidiary on the A/R Configuration window.
