The following windows are used to enter and process W-2 information:
· Payroll Controls window determines the benefit activation dates, YTD tables to be updated, YTD totals for benefits/taxes, totals to be pulled into the W-2s, and workstudy year and term to be used in conjunction with Financial Aid.
· Benefits Control window defines and details benefit information including W-2 categories.
· Taxes window defines and details taxes to be withheld for each employee. For example, Federal, EIC, FICA, Tax Code, Employer ID Number, etc.
· HR Employee Master via Payroll window, Benefits, Taxes, and Payroll (Employee YTD W-2 information) tabs can be used to enter, update, and track select employee W-2 information.
· W-2 Controls window defines your organization's transmitter, file return address and W-2 form name address for reporting W-2s.
· Generate W-2s window prints W-2 forms or creates media formats to send to the Federal Government.
