Transaction Details Window

This view-only window allows you to view the detail of a transaction and its corresponding payment transaction (if one exists).

Tabs

This window has two tabs: Transaction and Payment Transaction. The Transaction and Payment Transaction tabs display the same columns. The Transaction tab shows data from the selected PT transaction, and the Payment Transaction tab shows data from its corresponding PP transaction. The type of transaction you are viewing determines the tab that displays when you open the Transaction Details window.

How To

These windows are built on Summary tables. If Update Summaries During Gift Entry is not selected on the Master Config tab on the Development Configuration window, then you must run the recalc to receive correct information.

1. Open the Work With Relationship window.

2. Select the ID Number, and choose Donor Inquiry from the right-click or Options menu.

3. The Donor Giving Summary Information window opens with the Details tab active.

4. To filter the transactions that appear on the Details tab, choose Filter Transactions from the right-click or Options menu.

5. The Select Transactions to Display Window opens.

6. Type in the information by which you want to filter the details and click OK.

7. To view details of a particular transaction, double-click on the transaction or choose View Tran Details from the right-click or Options menu.

8. The Transaction Details window opens.

9. Click on the tab summarizing the type of giving information you want to see.

10. You may not change any information in the rows in any of the tabs. These rows are not editable.

11. To view additional summary information on the Giving Summary Detail window about a row on one of these tabs, select the row and choose Summary Details from the right-click or Options menu.
