Edit Item (Action List) Window

This window allows you to edit the details of action lists that have been added to the Notepad for an ID Number.

The User Defined tab contains a UDEF form (udef_actlst in NPForm.pbl) that allows you to customize it by clicking the Customize button.

You have three options with this form.

· Use it as it is for all your action lists.

· Customize it and use it for all action lists.

· Create individual customized forms for specific action lists.

How To

1. Before you customize the form, determine whether you are using plain text (TXT) or rich text format (RTF).
Rich text format is available for notes and descriptions in Notepad-related windows. J1 Desktop is configured for TXT by default, but you can change to RTF in the Maintain Config Table window.

2. Click the Customize button.
InfoMaker opens, and the default form for this window appears.
Make your customizations.

3. Save the new custom form.

· To save this customization for all action lists, simply keep the current file name.

· To save this customization for a specific action list, use the Save As function to add the action list code to the file name. The formula is "udef_item_actlst_ACTIONLISTCODE" where ACTIONLISTCODE is the action list code that you are editing on this window.

If you don???t create a custom form for an action list, the default form appears.

If you save the custom form without adding the action list code to file name, it will become the default.
