An action list is defined on the Action Lists window and is a series of pre-defined actions (two or more individual actions) placed together in a certain order with a specific number of days between each activity. The Daily Procedure manages the implementation of the series of actions in an action list. The action list code, which defines these groups of actions, can be up to six (6) alphanumeric characters and is associated with a description.
If you are not seeing action lists that you would expect to see, request your administrator to ensure that you have the proper permissions set in the Notepad Users window.
You can configure the stages so that one action list is automatically attached to the candidate's Notepad at each stage. When a candidate's candidacy is changed from one stage to another, any action list associated with the new stage will be added to the candidate's Notepad assuming that you complete the Stage Change process (answering Yes to the Stage Change message).
The Action List column on the Edit Travel Schedule and Travel Schedule Inquiry windows is not currently used.
Through Year/Term Program Control in the Admissions module, an action list can be attached to a candidate's Notepad row when the candidate is entered into the system and assigned to a particular program.
You can specify that all candidates interested in entering the English program receive the ENGL action list. |
Through Moves Management in the Development module (Donor Proposal Stage Configuration window), an action list can be attached to each stage of a major potential donor's move through the proposal process.
