If this checkbox is selected, an audit record will be created in the Grade Maintenance History table any time a change is made to the student's grade. This may be used if you are tracking information for a scholarship or special GPA.

If you select this checkbox, dropped courses (D) will appear on the Courses tab of the Student Inquiry window. If you clear this box, only those courses with a status of Current (C), History (H), Pre-registered (P), or Waitlisted (W) will be displayed for the selected student.

The Grade Scale default entered here will appear when each new course catalog entry is created. If you have only one grade scale, use it as the default. If you have several, enter the grade scale that you currently use when creating new courses for the Registration process.
