Academic Credit Varies by Division

If you select this checkbox on the Registration Configuration tab of the Registration Configuration window, the system allows you to create labels for academic credit nomenclature based on Division. Windows and reports that display credit hours are modified so that the J1-generated headers for Credit Hours columns are replaced with the labels you create on the Division Definition window.

If you select this checkbox, the following columns appear on the Division Definition window:

If you use the Division Definition criteria listed in the table below, the Academic Credit Labels on the Catalog window (one of the windows and reports affected by this configuration setting) will read as follows for a Graduate course: Credit, Credit Hours, and Default Hours. For an Undergraduate course, the labels would be Units, Credit Units, and Default Units.
