1.    Open the Create Student Update for Bookstore window.

2.    To specify which student records to export to the Bookstore, select a query from the list provided in the Selection Query drop-down list box.

You can use the default InfoMaker query to select those student files to be used to update the bookstore, or you can modify the selection using the Customize button. InfoMaker will automatically open, and you can make any necessary changes. After the changes have been made, you should use the File, Save As option and save it as a separate report to ensure that the original report format remains the same.

3.    If the students AR accounts have a balance limit, click the AR Balance Limit radio button. If the students AR accounts do not have a balance limit, click the No Limit radio button.

4.    To create the Bookstore Limits Save As file, click the File Open button on the right side of the File Name column in the Bookstore Limits Save As section. The File Save As window appears.

a.    Type a file name for the student balance limit records file you are creating in the File name column.

b.    Select the folder and file path where the file will be stored using the available drives and folders options.

c.     Click Ok. The Directory column will automatically display the directory path of the file. If you know the directory path of the file, you can type it in.

5.    To create the Bookstore Students Save As file, click the File Open button on the right side of the File Name column in the Bookstore Students Save As section. The File Save As window appears.

a.    Type a file name for the student balance limit records file you are creating in the File name column.

b.    Select the folder and file path where the file will be stored using the available drives and folders options.

c.     Click Ok. The Directory column will automatically display the directory path of the file. If you know the directory path of the file, you can type it in.

6.    Click Load.

7.    If you need to cancel the process, click Stop.
