Choosing the Inquiry Window Format

The A/R Inquiry window allows you to see transactions in subsidiary accounts for a student. Transactions are displayed on the A/R Inquiry Detail window and may be displayed in two different window layouts and four different formats.

Two columns of the transaction amounts: one for debits and one for credits.

One amount column where debits are shown as positive numbers and credits as negative.

If you selected the Open Items radio button in the A/R Configuration window, the same format is used regardless of the choice you select as long as you have chosen an Open Items subsidiary. This format gives a running total of the transactions, displays transactions grouped by charge fee codes, and allows you to display closed items.
