The Change How J1 Desktop Displays Date/Time link on the User Preferences window opens the Customize the Date and Time Format window. This window is used to view the current date and time formats and the J1 Desktop-approved formats and may be used to change how Date and Time are displayed on your local machine. When you open this window, the Current Format is displayed at the bottom of the window. This format will be used across all J1 Desktop windows that you open.
The Open Regional Settings button allows you to change the Regional settings for Date and Time on your computer, which also changes how other applications display date and time information on your machine. Changing the Regional settings will only affect the date and time formats on your machine; it will not affect other users' machines. The Customize the Date and Time Format window will not close if you have selected a date and time format that is not one of the options shown in the J1 Desktop-approved lists on the Customize the Date and Time Format window.
If you select a date format with a single digit month or date, it will always be displayed as two digits in J1 Desktop. |
