Requirement Type

The Requirement Type defines the different general types of application requirements for admissions at your organization. The Requirement Type determines where the system looks to see if information has been received and whether minimums have been met.

This column consists of six general categories of requirements for admission to your organization. The types are pre-programmed in the software and are used for checking and processing requirements. The following requirement type codes are the only choices available. You cannot change, add to, or delete any of these categories.

Several requirement types link directly with data in Organization Tracking or Test Scores. When new requirements are entered for a candidacy row, the system checks existing test score and organization tracking data, and the associated requirements are automatically updated and marked C (complete), as appropriate. Additionally, when Organization Tracking or Test Score data is entered, a the system checks to see whether any previously incomplete requirements are now complete due to the newly entered data.
