Changing the release status here will not cause this award to be transferred to the Business Office. To do that, you must run the Disbursements and Adjustments option from within the Financial Aid module with the following radio buttons selected: Actual Update and Actual Disbursement.
If the Fund Payment Type is G (Grant) and the Release Status is A (see above), the text "Preliminary Award" is displayed. Otherwise, the text "Transferred to account" is displayed.
