Comment information is stored in the COMMENT table, and attachment information is stored in the ATTACHMENT table. |
Feedback is used in J1 Desktop and the campus portal (JICS) CRMs to allow users to collaborate by adding messages or comments and attachments for others to view. Users can also be notified when these actions occur and can view notification threads as attachments in e-mail notifications.

Feedback can be added to requisitions and requisition line items and budget worksheets and their line items as well as graduation stages and leaves of absence. |
When Feedback is added to an item, a user can see if:
· The Feedback exists but has not been previously viewed.
· The Feedback exists and has been viewed.
· The Feedback does not exist.

This icon allows you to include a file in an e-mail message. |

Click this icon to add new comments. Clicking this icon opens the Review/Add Comments and Attachments window. This icon also indicates that no Feedback exists for this item. |

This icon indicates that unread Feedback exists for an item. Clicking this icon allows you to read the comment/attachment and also to attach additional comments/attachments. |

This icon indicates that previously read Feedback exists for an item. When you read a comment/attachment, the icon automatically changes from an unread icon to a read icon. |

To edit a comment, hover over the comment and click this icon. |

The tooltip for each unread icon displays the number of comments and attachments and the number of unread comments and attachments.
