1.    Open the Courses window.

2.    Click the Schedule tab.

3.    Create a new Schedule row.

4.    Select a value for that row from the Days Override down-down list.

In this example, there were 2 schedule rows created on the Schedule tab. The one row contains the actual schedule for the course. The other row displays the Days Override information that the school wishes the student to see without having to go to the Course Details screen. For ACTG 1003 01 in the Schedule block on the Search Results screen, the description “Days and Time Override displayed in campus portal (JICS) Search Results;” is displayed.

 

1.    Open the Courses window.

2.    Three columns on this window display information in the Course Details screen in campus portal (JICS):

a.    Master 2 tab: Note column (example)

b.    Master 2 tab: Text column (example)

When you create new courses using the Catalog Lookup window or the Copy Courses to New Term window, the J1 Create/Copy processes default information from the Catalog Master Text column to the Courses Text column on the Master 2 tab. On the Master 2 tab, you can delete, modify, or add information in the Text column. If no information exists in the Courses Text column, then the data from the Catalog Text column displays on the Course Details screen in campus portal (JICS).
