Use this window to generate, update, create, and delete financial reports including GASB and FASB standard reports, such as Statement of Net Assets; Statement of Revenues Expenses, and Changes in Net Assets; Statement of Financial Position; Statement of Activities; Statement of Cash Flows, and customized versions of these reports.
Use the Run Reports tab to generate an existing report. You can specify the report parameters, such as fiscal year and month and/or month-to-date or year-to-date, review the report template in the Excel template pane, and send it to Excel for review, customizing, and distribution.

Updates to amounts or any formatting within the Excel report cannot be saved back to J1 Desktop; however, updates to the J1 Desktop template can be saved from the Excel template pane when in J1 Excel mode or from Excel when working from the Manage Report tab. |
Use the Manage Report tab to:
· Create an entirely new report or one based on an existing report
· Update an existing report template in J1 Excel mode or in Excel

Report template updates made in Excel can be saved back to J1 Desktop. Jenzabar provided reports cannot be modified. |
· Access the Review/Add Report Line Items tab where you can correlate report line items to specific template report cells while updating a report template
· Delete a report

Use the Review/Add Report Line Items tab to correlate report line items to specific Excel template cells. This tab allows you to:
· Select a different line item to be associated with an existing Excel template cell
· Remove a line item associated with an existing Excel template cell
· Access the Manage Report Line Items window where you can create, update, and delete report line items to be available for the financial report

To edit a report line item you are working with on the Review/Add Report Line Items tab, click the Manage Report Line Items link. The Manage Report Line Items window opens in modify mode and modify line item view displaying the selected report line item. |
You can access Excel capabilities by utilizing the Excel template pane in J1 Excel mode or opening the report template in Excel. Excel capabilities allow you to:
· Review detailed report information and groupings
· Create various scenarios for comparisons
· Create charts and graphs based on account information

When you access the template from the Excel template pane of the window, you are in J1 Excel mode and have access to Excel features. To close J1 Excel mode, you must click Return to J1 Desktop Mode. |
