Candidate JICS Account

This option is only available if you have a license for CRM Candidate and if the Maintain Config Table window has the following row:

The above setting also enables the automatic creation of or automatic deletion of a JICS account for a Candidate who is moved into this stage.

The following three radio buttons work in conjunction with the Jenzabar Internet Campus Solution (JICS) and allow JICS accounts to be created, deleted, or left as is for any candidate at this stage:

When the Create (= Y) radio button is selected and the changes are saved, a message appears informing you that accounts will be created for candidates at this stage: "By selecting the Create option for the Candidate JICS Account column for the <xxx> stage for all candidates who are currently at this stage, you can create JICS accounts for those candidates who do not currently have a JICS account and put all of the candidates in this stage into the Candidate role. Do you wish to create the JICS accounts now for candidates in this stage?"

§ If you select Yes to this prompt, the system then selects all Candidacy rows for the stage being configured and inserts rows into the TW_WEB_SECURITY and TW_GRP_MEMBERSHIP tables so that the API can pass these users over to JICS to create a JICS account. If the rows already exist in both tables, no new rows will be added.

§ If you select No to this prompt, no Candidacy rows are selected and no information is passed to JICS for candidates currently at this stage.

When the No Change (= X) radio button is selected, JICS accounts are not automatically created and any existing JICS account is not deleted when a candidate is moved into this stage that is being configured. In other words, you are indicating that you do not wish to make changes to any existing JICS account information for candidates at this stage and that you do not want a new account to be created if one does not already exist. Because no changes are made when you select the No Change option, you will not be prompted to update all candidates currently at the stage that you are configuring when you save the stage.

When the Delete (= N) radio button is selected and changes are saved, a message appears informing you that the Candidate role (not the JICS account) will be deleted for candidates at this stage: "By selecting the Delete option for the Candidate JICS Account column for the <xxx> stage, you can delete the Candidate JICS role for all candidates who are currently at this stage and who do not have another Candidacy row with a stage that has the Create option selected for the Candidate JICS Account column. Do you wish to delete the Candidate role now for candidates in this stage?"

§ If Yes is selected, the system selects all Candidacy rows for the stage being configured and deletes rows from the TW_GRP_MEMBERSHIP table so that the API can pass the information over to JICS to delete the Candidate role.

§ If you select No to this prompt, no Candidacy rows are selected and no information is passed to JICS for candidates currently at this stage.

When a New Candidacy Row is Added

1. If the stage of any candidacies for the candidate has the Create option selected, a new JICS account is created (if necessary) and the candidate is placed into the Candidate role (if necessary).

2. If the stage of all candidacies for the candidate has the Delete option selected, the candidate will be removed from the Candidate role.

3. In all other cases, no change will be made to the candidate's JICS account if one exists and no account will be created if one does not exist.
