If this checkbox is selected on the Grade Table Definition Window, the credit hours for the course with this grade will be added to the total hours enrolled for the student when the Credit Hours Update process is run in Financial Aid Manager. The majority of grades should have this checkbox selected, including failing and withdrawal grades as these count towards the hours the student is enrolled in.
Schools should only de-select this checkbox for any grade where the course should not be counted for the financial aid enrolled hours, or that indicate a student is not considered enrolled. For example, audit grades should not be selected, as a student who is auditing a course should have the credit hours set to zero (0) or else should be given an audit grade immediately after registering.
